The large ship I took a photo of was on its way to Duluth. Duluth happens to have live cameras on youtube so I kept an eye out and caught it arriving on cam tonight.
Took the hounds to the river a couple of days ago and some American Coots were just bobbing around until their buddy came sliding in for a visit.View attachment 166528View attachment 166529View attachment 166530View attachment 166531
No kidding, I would have thought you'd see them around. They're so amusing to watch diving and munching and scurrying away from people. ONE fine day I hope to actually get a picture of their feet! I borrowed this from google---

I couldn't view your youtube links, keeps saying "oops something went wrong". Maybe you need to set if for public to view?I noticed a flash of wings at dawn today and was grateful that the Blink captured it. This owl has been scarcely seen at the pond lately - maybe because I have a net suspended or who knows why.
But, there's a very robust bullfrog in there and I suspect that she has an eye for him. I hope she removes him before he eats any of my new shubbies
Yikes -- both are set to public, let me investigate further. I'm unable to find a problem. Maybe I should upload them again and delete the originals.I couldn't view your youtube links, keeps saying "oops something went wrong". Maybe you need to set if for public to view?
