Our lil bear opened his eyes today! Something to look forward to, she said he will probably be ready to come to his forever home around the first part of June.

Oh my....is Missy to have a little brother ? :)
lol yes

dear hubby joined a love your yorkie thread on FB after months of watching them interact, puppies, etc he turned to me and said maybe we need a baby for our fur baby. She just turned 7 and it is actually good for her to have a puppy to interact with.

So there went my control. I had 5 yorkies in Arizona. I put out some inquiries, checked rescue yorkies, but most did not want to have a pup already in the house. SO went on a few breeding sites, put out a few inquiries. I won't buy a yorkie from a back yard breeder, they are usually pretty unhealthy.

Filled out a application with one site, wanted references, vets name etc. She called about a week later her little gal had two pups, born on 3/28. She told us the girl was already spoken for, the boy was available. We had the deposit in her hands (via venmo) within moments.

She told us she keeps them until around 12 weeks of age. So we are on pause until early June. IF they lift restrictions on driving we might drive over to see the lil bear. She allows no visitors until they are 8 weeks old. And then you need shoes off, hands washed, etc.
She is around 1.5 hours from us. Until then she shares photos, videos and we can facetime with him via FB.

He is a parti colored yorkie just like Missy, but will have the silky coat, not the cotton coat that Missy has.

Can't wait!

I will live vicariously through you! Have you decided what to name him?

BTW the news channels are saying pet adoptions are way up and they say it is the BEST thing to do! ........................try and try and try again.
I have not been dogless in my young life except for while in college.

I know... our sweet Bella died right before Christmas. I miss her terribly. I would love to get another. But our oldest daughter moved back home and brought her two dogs with her... so we definitely aren't dog free!

It is my OCD .I cannot let things be wild even though I want too .I guess growing up on a farm and always things here and there and never any order to things made me this way .Like that magnolia in the pic above the last pic is now driving me crazy because it is uneven on one side and the 1 crab apple tree needs some work also to even it up .I have to keep them low because the over head wires are above them
