Sissy my big KOI Goldie is so darn big this year that I am sure she is bigger than your little "Pee Wee! Ha ha. I would like to see them fight over dog food, cause my big Koi love dog food and that would be funny to see my Goldie dragging little Pee Wee into the pond and swimming off with him!! :)

Glad to hear you have seen most of your fish MT and that last one is prolly hiding in there somewhere. They are good hiders. I haven't seen any floating belly up either addy and hope I don't. Chilly here too Colleen but not as low as your temps thank goodness! I'll take 40's to your teens any day. I wanna go outside and play but the rains of Kilimanjaro are stopping me at the moment.

I didn't get my pond going when I said I was going to get it going :( . Geeze our weather has been so crummy, really cold and had snow just five days ago. Haven't seen to much growth on my outdoor plants yet either. The last two days the sun has been out and so really have enjoyed that( would of enjoyed it even more if i didn't have to work).lol This weekend it's going to happen. The bottom of the pond is at almost 50F due to the sun being out the last two days. Think I will be brave and haul my pond plants out too and hope for the best. :)

We are colder than you right now.........go figure mtpond. sitting at 34. But the day temp, they say, will hit 67, maybe.

As long as it does not freeze or a heavy frost your pond plants would probably be ok. We are still frosting but the lilies leaves and buds are doing ok, one lotus has sent up leaves, it too is surviving the cool. The flowers that have opened in the yard are ignoring the freeze.

I hear you Montana, we too are far behind this spring due to cold crummy weather. Should be outside now but it's a hurricane of wind.... yesterday was nice and I did get lots done by the pond, but now there is the front yard that needs my attention too!

Today was chilly and light rain off and on all day, but I finally got my butt going on the waterfall, and got it plumbed the way I decided to change it after my water line pulled apart and emptied my pond! I wrapped the water line with that pipe insulation rubber, as that will be out of the pond, running up the side of the waterfall. Hoping to not have as many problems with it freezing with water running. Only thing left to do is bury the line on the inside wall of the one side of waterfall. That way, if anything leaks or breaks, the water will seep right back into the pond or bog. You'll get your pond up and running when it's warm, MT, no worries.

Good to hear! I am sure the fish must be happy that you came out to "play" by the pond! :)

It was very windy at the river and the sky was dark and dusty. It looked like something from 1930, dust was blowing all threw the city, it was so bad I could feel the dusty grit in my teeth!

On the bright side, I got a new light for the pond, a round globe!! I rushed home from work to have a glass of wine and stare at the pond .... :)

:) Is your new light solar? I don't have any lights in my pond I only have lights around the pond and they are solar. I have a solar spotlight that I shine on my waterfall, I really like going out on those warm nights and watching the water coming down.
