Sun was out all morning here, until about 2 or so. Pretty nice day all the way around, but calling for windy days again next 3 days, chance of rain/snow, but heading up to 50's by weekend! I can only hope they are correct about that weekend forecast. Sounds great to me.

For those of use who do Daylight Savings, clocks change this coming weekend! Oh happy days is right, going to love it being light out that extra hour after work! That's the first sign that spring is just around the corner for me. Now, bring on the warmer temps, too, as predicted, no take-backs this time Mr Weatherman!

Haha, MT says 12 days, Addy says 11 days. I think first day of spring is the 20th, right?
I am mirroring your weather, MT. Are you supposed to have it really warm tomorrow, too, like close to 60? We are looking for a high of 49 today, 59 tomorrow!! Then, highs for the next 10 days mostly in the 50's. Woohoo!!! Lots of rain ahead, but it IS spring ... almost! Will help those spring flowers pop out so the rest of us can have some color, like Addy already has!

I woke up to over 60 degrees yesterday, the weathermen sure missed that one! Cloudy, dreary, windy, but mid 60's yesterday and rain in the afternoon. It is spring, and I was happy with the temps. Fish thought the light rain on their pond was food hitting the water, and were all topside to check it out! That tells me soon the water will be warming up more and I'll be able to feed, but I'm pretty sure that's another month or two off yet. I'll be patient, was nice to see them so active, and munching on the edges of the liner, too.

It may not be Spring here quite yet but my fish sure think it is! They are all up and about and enjoying the sunshine. Not too much sun today but at least no rain. Those little piggy fish are looking at me w/ feed me eyes again!

I'm sure you will be feeding your fish before I'll be feeding mine, JW. I'm not in any hurry, although it is sure fun to feed them and watch them come swimming over! Soon ... it will be soon .... how many days now until spring, MT? Let's see, if it's the 11th, does that mean only 9 more days?! Woohoo!!!

Went into fall with some string algae in my pond thinking that the colder water and ice would kill it during the winter. Yeah right was that ever a dumb thought. Now that we're getting sun its starting to grow. :pissedoff: Sure hope my plants do their job this summer. I have a bird feeder about 25 ft. from my pond and for some reason during the winter the birds scattered sunflower shells all around the pond. Theres shells all over in the waterfall, shells that I've fished out of the pond and shells stuck in the string algae that I'm trying to pull out. Not sure why they did that this winter, they didn't do it last winter. Bottom of the pond today was 43.2F, can't wait to start the pond up.
