Congrats to all who have been eating better, losing some of the weight you want gone, etc... I do want to say something about DIETS however. No matter what we read, each and everyone of us is different. What works for one, may not work for someone else. YOUR EMOTIONS will play a big part in weight control as well. Being happy with yourself is the biggest SUCCESS to STARTING a diet IMO...
Hubby thinks he is grossly over weight. He isnt. Can he afford to lose a few pounds, yes... I control most of the meals in this house, and as a general rule, we eat healthy. When he gets stressed, he will gain weight, even if the diet and activity levels have not changed.
I on the other hand have the opposite problem of most. I struggle to maintain/gain weight. Again, same diet and activity levels... no stress, my weight is fine (still want to gain, but not losing)... if I am stressing, even doubling my intake will cause me to LOSE weight.
So just want to stress that you need to be HAPPY with yourself no matter what the scale says. You dont have to accept that scale and can strive to improve health, but dont forget about your emotional well being. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING,
