@cas , @j.w , @yorkshire pudding you all have beautiful ponds and they are managable sizes. Though I dont play with the pond often ask Addy when you do you take away carts full of plants. And in the fall which is around the corner I dont even want to talk about that choir. Is it worth it ask me again in November once all the leaves are cleaned up .

Yes your pond is so perfect it is definitely worth all the work to keep it up! If you would just quit your other job you would have much more time to take care of your pond

I went to my local koi store today to bring them a half dozen fish that just don't fit in. And while talking to him I asked how the pond buisness was going for installs and he said it had been their best year. Wheni asked If they were still using their go to filter, he said they had stopped them all together and the bog was all they used now. I have shown them the videos I have posted here and I know he has been impressed. I guess more so then I had even thought. Here's a night video using only a cell phone showing the water conditions.

I left bread crumbs leading to dead pool/ that the narrow extention I added onto the pond. Where I will add a good pile of food. Once the fish or two go in there I shut down the exit with a 30 inch net. Then it's just good old fassion netting paitence. Dead Pool is the shallowness and narrest part of the main pond. Thus why we call it dead pool you may get in but you may have reservations to go elsewhere.

So beautiful @GBBUDD and I bet that koi shop loves it when you bring them fish! Great on them using the bog idea you gave them too. Have the owners been to see your lovely pond?
