Yeah, that's how I usually think, absurdly saying, "someone following me at night usually results in them shooting me in the back" so it was ok for me to assault the fella and call the cops on him.
We were talking about your "Moral of the story. Irregardless who starts the fight, run away from the fight. Don't continue participating."

Ok, so your "moral of the story" is... If someone is following you and appears creepy, then it is cool for me to initiate the assault on the fella and call the cops on him.

Or... I believe you were trying to suggest. Your interpretation of the law is if ya believe the creepy guy following you is going to cause you to die, then it is ok for ya to initiate the assault on the fella and call the cops on the creepy looking guy that was just following ya.

Ok. Fair enough. You better hope the guy you are assaulting is not a concealed gun carry fella who will then can reasonably defend himself if he believe he is going to die due to the assault.

I know its not the best way, because the best outcome is to have only one left to tell what happened so I will just confront him Not tell him who I am and ask what the hell he is doing here if he twitches shoot him.

Yep, again. Fair enough. You better hope the guy you chose to assault is not a concealed gun carry fella who will then can reasonably defend himself if he believe he is going to die due to the assault.

The problem with the "if he twiches shoot him" theory, then you will have to believe Zimmerman's injuries was self inflicted and Zimmerman is a criminal master mind.

Did you miss the part where he twitched, I assumed he was reaching for a gun and I shoot him as I was in fear for my life.

Yeah, I think we're crossposting a bit...

This is why everyone should be carrying. Zimmerman would have approached with his weapon drawn and explained his concerns and Trayvon would have been a lot more civil and explained that he was just walking to his fathers house. Or Trayvon seeing that he was being followed by a creep could have drawn his weapon, felt safe enough to ask Zimmerman why he was following him and gotten either the drop on Zimmerman when he reached for his skittles or gotten a satisfactory explanation and each go about their business.
That's why guns were called "peacemakers".

Hahaha the problem with "he twitched and i thought it was a gun i was in fear for my life so i shot him" is that it will be much harder to get people to actually believe that than it will be to get people to believe you were in fear for your life when he was repeatedly punching you and smashing your head into the concrete. The jury wont believe that and you will go to jail.

It is our duties as citizens to ensure that our neighborhoods are safe. Many police departments are there for the benefit of the police. Have you even gotten a ticket because the police needed more money. I call it revenue enhancement. Any organization where officers are judged based on their ticket collections is not there to protect and serve the people.

The highway patrolman that pulls up behind you with his lights on bright. If he is lucky you will pull away and he can arrest you for speeding or you will cross out of your lane because he has blinded you and he will pull you over hoping for a DWI. In 1974 a North Dakota highway patrol pulled it on a friend, I was in the car. Last fall a Texas highway patrol pulled it on my wife and I. It stinks of entrapment.

When a community stops policing itself and turns its safety entirely over to the cops is a sad day.

Well folks I'm a little worried. Reports are that some of these Jurers were crying during the final Prosecution argument. I hope they don't go with emotion and that they stick to the laws of self defense.
