Wow, I'm now up to 5 frogs! First 4 were Bullfrogs and the latest is a Leopard Frog. Hard to believe I waited all season long and suddenly so many are coming at once.

I brought my zoom lens from work to get a shot of this shy guy (I'm guessing he's a green frog, probably not a bullfrog). Looks like the frog Lisa posted on this page. It was 2 feet higher sitting on the edge of the aqueduct so ran upstairs to get my 200mm zoom lens. When I got back down it was under the aqueduct. This guy was hopping all around the aqueduct all day. It's been around for about 45 days now. There was a leapard frog but can't find it. Hope this guy or gal stays! Also including an overall view of aqueduct where the frog was later in the day. Shots were all taken yesterday when it was really hot. It's cool today and so froggy seems to not like the cool weather.

Sad to say this morning Calvin the cat finally won his 734th round with our multitude of frogs. I managed to snatch the glory of round 735th away from him just in time though. He seems to have gotten smarter and is now stalking them farther away from the pond so they can't just 1 hop and plop it. I feel this is going to be an ongoing battle.

I hear some croaking in the bushes around here but don't see any at my pond now, except a dead one in my bathtub pond. Wonder why he croaked? He was fully loaded w/all his body parts, just floating nose up in the water like he peeked his last peek and then passed on :(

@tbendl funny my cats have never caught a frog or a fish. All they do is sip some water now and then from the pond edge and try to get the fish food I throw in for the fish. They love the little pellets. Now if the cats like the fish food I wonder if the fish would like the cats food

Cool thread and great pics everyone. I have done nothing but move frogs since I started digging. Didn't take the time to get any pictures, though. I will do better in the future!

Yesterday I saw a frog on a canna leaf right by my front porch. He was about the size of a quarter. I went to grab the camera and when I got back he was gone. I have dozens of frogs all over my yard, but do not have any in the pond. Can't wait until I do.

I'm not sure why. 2 yrs ago you couldn't hear yourself think with all the croaking.I build this beautiful pond oasis and the frogs are gone?

snakes? I only saw toads before I added my pond to the yard. The week the water stared moving frogs started showing up. 2 of my little one are not around now. Maybe hiding in the water fall rocks? You could always go frog hunting!
