When this happened Meyer it was before you needed to report the virus , I recall reading about it in one of the koi magaizines , his fish would not have been sold on and have lived out their remaiing days Isolated from any other koi by seperate ponds and filtration systems far apart from one another.
We arent talking run of the mill koi either we are talking paying thousands
I think it was one of those stories that really drew the attention of the rest of the membership to this dread disease personally I think it very brave of him to use his misfortune to the greater good,
There was a very sad story that hit a few years ago now of a top Japanese Breeder who's koi came down with KHV, after ringing around his agents throughout the world he walked out of his office and blew his brians out such was the shame and loss of face that he felt
