Holy cats! Reading what others are paying for electric makes me thankful to be right where I'm at! $65 a month in Summer (running a small window AC), and $60 per month the rest of the year. No increase with running our small pond pumps, but I was worried what our water bill would be with filling our new pond. To my surprise, there was no increase. But I'm still irked that we pay $40 a month for water, considering we used to pay $5.34 per month for water at our previous home (in the next county). Especially since I installed water saving everything when I built this place!

Lol actually the liner up against the rocks holds in the bulk of it. I think I am about 5 cans in. Not enjoying it yet too much still working on it more than relaxing at it. Finished rocking the waterfall except where it meets the pond though, now i just need to decide how to rock the entry point. Its getting close though. I am losing a lot less water and most is from splashing vs. leakage.

So peaceful, love your video. I've never had lights on my pond......I guess I worried they needed a night time too....but yours seem quite peaceful swimming in the lights.

Thank you, it is mesmerizing at times where I just want to sit there and just watch and listen. its also funny that you mention that with the lights, I was thinking about this last night. My lights are actually on a dusk to sawn photo sensor and set to shut off 4 hours after dusk currently so it does go dark for about 6 to 8 hours.

I had lights at one time, before heron netting, I lost some large whitish fish over night. Most likely a owl.

It made them too visible.

Sorry for your loss. Luckily i don't have many fishing birds in the area (crossing fingers).

Updated pic of the rocking of the waterfall. Did a test run and it still flows nice, just a few loose ends to tie up.
