A long time ago I had a wolf doberman mix, the mom was pure wolf, the dad Doberman. Coon never barked, he only howled and not very often. Darn smart dog. We would take him camping with us, he would walk a circle around the camp, lay just far enough away to protect us from anything that might come by. Passed away at 7 he was around 150 lbs, not over weight.

That is a handsome animal. We have had some wolf /coyote hybrids spotted around my way, a lot of guesswork about them.

I think the steep hill there is a deterrent. But we actually had to raise the fence for that exact reason and if he jumps it again we have some room to get higher.

Got the bedroom french doors installed to add to our viewing pleasure. Still need to install the 6x9' window that will basically replace the bedroom wall off the pond as you can see still need to sheetrock, sand and paint.

And a quick video of the pond at night from the bedroom looking through the french doors.

I bought my first fixer upper for 30 thousand and lived and fixed it for 10 years and sold it for 139 thousand and bought second fixer for 174 thousand and lived and fixed for 10 years and sold it for 500 thousand and this was my retirement home in VA and paid 89 thousand for a modular and 3 + acres and I have been updating it since .2004 with porch's decks and guest house so no matter what you buy it is work .I had dirt and a house .I bought my house with no flooring because I wanted what they did not offer yet .My house was built in Tennessee and if it can do 65 miles an hour down the road it can do anything .I would do modular again and my son is now thinking of putting a house one the extra lot and he wants modular .No over runs and a set price and no weather to stop the build .Can you tell I love my modular home .Norris homes rocks

You sir are much handier around the house than I! My one regret about my garden, very limited viewing from the house.
Thank you. Still a learning process and love for shows like Fixer Upper couples with the desire to save money and get more for less lol.

Almost it will really have a view when the 9' long by 6' tall window goes in. We opened the door last night. The cool breeze coming in and the trickle of the mini fall on the bog filter were soothing.

Your pond is a beauty to view from your home!
Thank you, that truly was the goal. It was a little difficult at first because as we were talking to the real estate agent (great guy and now friend) he shared it should be where it can be seen and enjoyed. This was a struggle at first because we could not see it and enjoy it from inside and have it be as big as we wanted. The solution French doors off the bedroom and a pergola fit to spend quality time outside. We have finally achieved each of those and can (well will) thoroughly enjoy it. The huge bedroom window going un will help too :)
