Sissy, my sister was having a hard time determine boys and girls when her boxer had pups 2 years ago, and I thought are you serious??? Her pups were 2-3 times as big as these, too. Granted, the little boy part is very small, but it's still there! I just am not positive if I looked at each one, or maybe looked at the same ones twice. So, there lies the doubt of whether they are all boys. I'm about 98% sure they are boys. Oh well, at least no one fighting over the only girl! They are doing really well. Hardly hear them cry, if they do, she is right there to cuddle them. They "squeak" more than anything. :)

Had my sister, niece, friend of my niece, and my son over here this morning, so with all that help, I put on my swim suit and gave directions for holding the seine net, and between my son and I, we got at least 10 goldfish caught and moved to the goldfish pond from the koi pond. I see there are 3 left, but that worked really well! We only had about 7 caught, and then I checked a floating netted ring with hyacinths, doing really poorly (remember large yellow koi found in there, after gone missing for about 5 days???), and there was my Asagi koi, along with 4 or 5 large goldfish in there! Easy to catch and move, so was happy to have found them. I guess I need to keep checking the netted ring if I keep them in the koi pond.
Also, remember Aris, the turtle got moved to goldfish pond in netted ring? He went missing last Thursday. Today I found him in the koi pond skimmer. :) He's a moving dude! If he decides he wants to leave, I'll let him, but sure hope he stays.

CE, the pups are adorable! Awwww We have been looking around for another dog the last few days. I saw the pics and showed the wife and she liked them as well. Love the little brindle with the spot on it;s forehead.
Glad to hear you found you missing fish as well. Sounds like all the little critters are keeping you busy these days! :)

Thanks, Fishin! I will have 3 boys for sale, $300 each, in case anyone is interested. LOL
The turtle is a traveling dude! Found him (or thought it was Aris) in skimmer last night, put him in koi pond. Didn't see him later. This morning, found him in goldfish pond .... along with a friend!!! This is so funny. Pretty sure the one I found in the skimmer was Aris, but now not certain. Think it's funny they have figured out how to travel between the ponds, which is fine with me.
Here are the two turtles in the lilies in goldfish pond. Then close ups of each of them in same position.

Aris is in the second pic, he comes up farther to see where I am. He swam to me to get food after this pic, but the other turtles is still very shy. This is why I'm pretty certain Aris is the same Aris from last year, he is very friendly, knows to come for food. The other one will have to learn.
Here are a couple of pics of a small frog, maybe 2" long, in the goldfish pond, on bog ledge. They are usually pretty elusive, so was happy this one posed long enough for pics. Anyone know what it is? It's about twice the size of the Northern Cricket frogs (haven't even seen any of them yet this year) and maybe 1/3 the size of bullfrogs.

Here's what I think is a bullfrog, but really pretty coloration!

And, have more toad eggs, took this pic 2 days ago, this morning they are already hatched and swimmers, I suppose. Maybe the turtles are eating them, not sure. If they are, it's fine with me. :)

And, my Boston was quit the hit this weekend with company at my house. Everyone wanted a chance to hold a puppy. She didn't mind, as long as she could see them, just kept a close eye on them.

I see Aris every morning when I feed. Easy to pick him out, as he is not afraid like the new turtle, which I did not see this morning. He come swimming toward me when I'm standing in the "feeding zone". LOL I have a feeling if he got used to me squatted down, he would come eat out of my hand, too. The lilies are so full that there is barely room for his little head to poke out! He even climbed on top of the lilies when I tossed a couple pieces of food, as they stayed on top.
Other frogs are learning to be less fearful of me. And, tonight, bullfrogs are croaking off and on, which is delightful to me! Thank goodness the 95 degree temps have left for the rest of the week. Much more enjoyable when it's in the 70's by evening.
Puppies are a week old tonight, and sure are fat little buggers! She could easily have raised 6 or 7.

Gosh, JW, I figured I post so darn many pics, that people are probably tired of seeing my stuff! Here you go!
Puppies and Denali, each sleeping in their own particular way. :)

That Dusty Miller plant that lived through our mild winter, and then grew to over 3' in diameter, is blooming. Still not a really beautiful plant, but pretty yellow blooms anyhow.

This morning I noticed (before the rain started) that some of the outside edge landscape stones on the waterfall side were wet. Investigation showed that the water was getting around a folded part of liner and siphoning out slowly. No wonder I had to fill the pond twice last week! Easy fix, but this may have been the reason for the rocks that were moved around ... Grace in this pic, but have seen Tarzan and Teddy, two other cats on this area, too!

Was pretty excited this morning to see my first cattail on my dwarf plant that I got last year. I separated the plant, made about 6 or 7 different plants, and this one "bloomed" this morning!

This plant is called millet, and the lady at the landscape place where I got it said her husband told her, "We're selling corn plants!" I really like the green and burgandy variegated leaves and the deep burgandy or almost black heads. Close up of the heads and pic of the whole plant.

Now, on to read all the posts I "follow" .... need to "unfollow" some of them, but it's so much fun! :)
