Baby raccoon won't leave!

what would worry me is when the grapes are gone what are they going to go after to eat .I was reading most coons like fruit and veggies ,so you may have to increase your grocery budget or fish may be in there diet next .Have you tried trapping them and getting rid of them before something goes wrong

The grapes have been gone for several weeks so besides some bird seed on the ground I don't know what they are eating.

well they will be getting mighty hungry unless they are visiting some of your neighbors for food .I had one that lived at my house in NJ and he loved my veggie beds and grapes .I caught him one time taking a bath in my big fountain in my front yard funny as heck .

I think it was two weeks ago when I was leaving in the morning I saw my neighbors trash can had been gone through, trash all over the ground.

yep they love going through garbage and will even get in your car if you leave the windows open and try to find food .The 1 in NJ got in my tbird and had a ball when I forgot and left the window open he ate a whole bag of life savers and a paer I left in there plus stole the change out of my cup holder

He needed change to get a drink after eating those life savers and the pear.

geeze glad I didn't run into him at dunkin donuts .I was pissed I needed those quarters and my poor son didn't have change for his soda at lunchtime .The neighbors I had always used to complain about him to me as if he was my pet and I was responsible for whatever he did .

yeh my friend and poor thing did not get to move to VA ,I left him behind to terrorize the neighbors

He is still around I talked to my neighbors a month ago and he had gotten in there garbage again .She told me he still goes up by my property to eat the grapes and the blueberries .My house up there got foreclosed on and it has been empty for over 2 years now .She said it was a shame the owners lost the house as they had children for her son to play with .I guess no one wants to buy it and she said the house looks so neglected and unloved it looks sad .I don't want to go back and see it after all the work on the gardens and stuff I did .So I guess my little guy raccoon has grown up and out on his own .She told me she took a pic of him laying on my front porch railing

Ahhhhhhhh, that's nice about the raccoon getting to stay near his home but hope he doesn't cause anyone too much trouble. That's too bad about your old house. I hope someone can buy it and fix it back nice the way you had it someday.

I told her he loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so she is going too make him one .She says he comes out every morning and watches her son leave for school and then when he gets home from school he is sitting there waiting .Her son gives him pop tarts no wonder he waits for him LOL
