I'm back!! I can't believe the last time I updated this was in July. Right now I don't have any new pics because the pond kind of looks like s*** but I almost have it drained and tomorrow I might have pictures of it running for its first time in 2012.

I only had to replace the tree to the left and probably one more tree but I'm so glad everything else made it through the winter.

looks like your gettin it done....i gotta drain mine, clean, and get it ready as well...was gonna do it while we had 80* temps, but too many other things going on. now were back in the 40s and 50s with freezing rain and hail. but sold over 40 fish (koi), during the short warm spell, and have about 20 to go...i counted 42 fish when i moved them into the pond from the tubs. there was a few in the pond. didnt realize how many lived from the unexpected August spawn... wow! and i received my laguna 2,150 gph pump today...that will be venturied ( for aeration & circulation) into my falls along with the 1,000 gph fishmate pump thru the filter into the falls...WOO HOO! 3,000 GPH FALLS. THATS 1,150 GPH MORE THAN NOW...I THINK I'LL LIKE IT!!

The more water running the better. With my pond all the way full I can drain it in under 1 minute with my waterfall pump.

Hey I see your pond is still a work in progress so I not sure if your changing anything but I want to give you a few tips on the pond

1.Why so shallow? with that depth its easy for predtors to eat you fish and wade through it. Also you want a depth of atleast 3 feet in one area in order to winter fish.

2. I see you used allot of the smae size rocks which extend a few feet from the pond making it unaproachable ( I think thats spelled right).

3. use plenty of large charector boulders as they add a natural look to the pond the rest can be filled in with smaller stone stones

4. the waterfall I dont know whta style your looking for buy a filterfall some liner and some nice big rocks and of course some waterfall foam and build the waterfall you would want to see in nature

again not trying to sound mean but when I did this my pond looked so much more better and now im going to redo it :) good luck really interested to see it finished

Well start reading from page one and a lot of your comments will be answered. And I could care less if my waterfall looks like it could be found in "nature" I made it how I liked it. Also if you can read the title it says Almost done so obviously I'm not taking my pond all apart to please you. I also don't know who the Hell you think you are to make such rude comments about my pond.
