Very nice and what kind are they. I have a neighbor down the road who raises some fancy steers...........can't remember the name tho. Her's are black also. She does not raise them to eat as they are just for show also.

Cool for the steers and do you spend a lot of time in there also? If there's a tv and internet connection and small fridge you have it made :D

Ididntdoit99 the drawing looks good I would drill some holes through the railroad ties and put some 1/2" rebar in them about 4' pieces just so it doesn't decide to tip over

The railroad ties are joined at a 90° right there... I'll be bolted into two different ones so they cant flip... that what the black is supposed to be on my drawing, 2 different railroad ties (i just drew them and the pond as big blobs because I was mainly trying to draw the dock.)

That'd be the worst part fixing the holes if u would put some poles in the pond to hold the front up you could use those square bricks people use to build decks on. They have holes molded into them for a 4x4 and grooves for 2x lumber on them just get some extra liner and put 2-3 pieces under each brick

I dont think I'll even mess with it. My pivot point would only be 1 feet behind the end of the dock, and i'll have at least 200 ponuds of counterweight about 3 feet behind the pivot.

If I use the formula W*X=F*L (weight of me*distance to the flucrum 12 inches) = (l being the lentgh from the fulcrum 36 inches, figuring f being the force needed to lift me) you would only need 66 pounds to keep me in the air, a railroad tie generally weighs anywhere from 100-200 pounds depending on length and condition, and I'll be bolted to 2 of them, so I should be just fine with no supports on the end.

Yeah, I really did just sit down and figure that out... sorry you had to read my math lesson for the day.

Very nice cows, horses, a 55 degree barn would make me way happy when it is hitting the 100's!

Nice cattle SMCOX~! So, since you show them, do you go out to Denver for the National Western Stock Show? I go out each year for it. My sis and I have season tickets :) I'll look for you next year if you're there~!
