Looks nice herz but I'm done wanting the white stuff now. I say bring on the sunshine to all of us ponders.
Lol that was the majority of jan-February for us here, below average temps expected through June here I believe. High of 21 tomorrow but possibly up to 53 on Sunday! Can't wait to see what happens.BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is all I can say, we were in the -8 to -10 range mid february, was darn cold.
I still remember the year I built the pond we had record snowfall. Even had a 12" blizzard in the middle of April. Luckily melted in a few days but was a rediculous year for snow. They are only saying we are to get less than 1/2" of snow tonight, after 1 a.m., so I'm voting for anything that does drop melts before I wake up! Oh, wait, I wake up about every 2 hours, so guess I'll see it if it happens. The ground is far too warm already for it to stick, which is fine by me!
The first winter of my pond we had unreal snow, 60 inches fell and stayed. The pond froze solid enough the deer were walking on it.I still remember the year I built the pond we had record snowfall. Even had a 12" blizzard in the middle of April. Luckily melted in a few days but was a rediculous year for snow.
I do Keith & then we lost the cherry crop because all the blooms got hit by frost because they opened up too early as a result of the warm weather, but a high of 53 forecasted for Sunday. So like Patty, I can't wait!okay do any of you remember we had a long string of 80 degree days in the Midwest two years ago in mid-march?...................
