They are only saying we are to get less than 1/2" of snow tonight, after 1 a.m., so I'm voting for anything that does drop melts before I wake up! Oh, wait, I wake up about every 2 hours, so guess I'll see it if it happens. The ground is far too warm already for it to stick, which is fine by me!

I still remember the year I built the pond we had record snowfall. Even had a 12" blizzard in the middle of April. Luckily melted in a few days but was a rediculous year for snow.

The first winter of my pond we had unreal snow, 60 inches fell and stayed. The pond froze solid enough the deer were walking on it.

I got lucky, the predicted 1/2" did in fact fall, and stick, and was very pretty first thing this morning. Tonight, it's all gone, except a little in the ditches where it blew and piled up more. Heading up 10 degrees each day until Sunday, in the 60's! Next week looks pretty good right now, too ....

We got maybe 3 inches, but it melted pretty fast. We have snow here and there not too much. The temp is heading up to the 60's by saturday, any left will go away fast.

Yep and when our peach tree bloomed in february and no fruit set since it was too early for pollinators to be out.

okay do any of you remember we had a long string of 80 degree days in the Midwest two years ago in mid-march?...................
I do Keith & then we lost the cherry crop because all the blooms got hit by frost because they opened up too early as a result of the warm weather, but a high of 53 forecasted for Sunday. So like Patty, I can't wait!
