This seems like a stretch of the imagination to me as Federal, State and local ordinances already prevent what you have described.

Don't get me wrong. I do not espouse illegal entry into this or any other country. I do, however, feel that the current immigration statutes are antiquated and need to be revised and updated. Arbitrary enforcement of the existing statutes can prove to be economically costly as can some newly enacted legislation as experienced in Alabama and Georgia where new immigration laws cost the agricultural industry billions of dollars. Revisions need be enacted that maximize the economic benefits for ALL involved.

Have you seen these people taking over foreclosures or in several instances people where people are on vacation or have there house up for rent and these people move in and use the electric and water and run up the bills and it takes banks and home owners some times a year to get them out .I have it happened to friends of mine .Her dad past away and her mom came to stay with them for awhile and people squatted on her house the month she was gone and that was over a year ago and they went to court 5 times and they just moved out of her destroyed home .All her belongings gone .They were Mexicans and had at least 15 to 20 people living in her home .The courts were so called had there hands tied they said because 8 of the people were children .None of them could speak english but still got a free lawyer and none could prove they were legal citizens and that is all that finally got them out .All her stuff ,all her pictures all of her memories gone .The house is so destroyed that it is not livable .I saw it today was horrified at the conditions of her once beautiful home .I am not sure I can ever get that picture out of my head .I was so mad at our legal system and how it let a SENIOR CITIZEN DOWN .

All I'm saying is that the people that can prove they are decent law abiding people and are willing to fill out paperwork to get into our country and are willing to work for a living can come and live here but if we can't take care of the people who are here already how can we add more to come in from other countries. It sure would be nice if somehow the countries that these people are from could be able to support their own people and not have to leave their homelands. Doesn't there become a limit to how many people we can handle? I have never seen so many homeless people living on the streets of downtown Seattle in tents under freeway bridges and along hillsides along the freeway. It is unbelievable! These people I see do not look like aliens from other countries. They speak English. So what is our problem? Is there just not enough jobs here? Are they just not willing to work? I don't get it!

There is no other country why do you think they come here ?

They expect to make it because for many many years that is what they have,been told, get To america where you can have a better life.

This country was built on laws and procedures. Same as any other country, only we no longer enforce many of the laws that made this country great, which is why I believe we need to revitalize those laws. I'm sure I've said before, my wife came to this country as an ESL student, with a visa and a passport. She became a citizen of the United States thru the proper procedures. She's no different than any other immigrant that's came to America, other than. 1, She doesn't insist on speaking her first language. 2, She doesn't fly an Iranian flag here in America. 3, She respects the laws of our land. That's what "immigration" means. What these new "immigrants" are doing is called "squatting", just come take something as if it was yours. Sorry if YOU think that's right but I do not.

I do not think it is right if we/they are criminals or are illagaly here then they should be jailed or exported.
We have laws in place but our law enforcement is undermanned and powerless on some issues.

Our famliy came from Argentina my dad came here first got a.job and a place for us he sent for us a year later.
I was 2.years old back in 1964. We had the,right docmentation.
My dad.work 2 full time jobs for 10 years.
We all got our citizen papers.
Millions of imgrantes have done this this is not some miracle.
My point on this
Over the last 25 or so years our country has turned in to big wusssies or something we no longer have pride, they just want everything given to them and of course we do.
Instead of setting them up and making them get a job and take care them selves, we just keep giving them food and housing year after year
Now there children are doing the same thing and the cycle continues.

So to me we need to get tough and change are policy, and save our nation from a bunch of spoiled useless people.
