Dang @addy there are easier ways to get out of doing chores,,,,,,,,,, I said drill a hole in the bottom of the boat and throw paper airplanes in the water not for you to jump in ........ What happened was it windy and the boat shifted?
No clue what happened one second stepping on boat next second in the water. This makes more chores, they will just wait for me..............
Bees? may need to hire someone

Boating is fun......................BUT

Getting on the boat with the two yorkies, we put them on first through the door. 5ish feet off ground.

Next thing I know, I am in the water, see my pup swimming to the surface next to me. No clue how far under I am. I push him up to the surface. I am in winter coat, sweats, shoes, don't feel the cold, swimming sort of fine. Yelling at hubby save the pups, forget me, save the pups. He gets them out onto the boat deck.

Then wants to pull me up 4feet under dock, say never gonna get me out. Yell run to neighbors, all had gone out to eat. So I swim to our boat ladder tell hubby don't touch left arm. Manage to get out. Drop all the clothes on the deck. Wrap up in hubs robe tell him to dry pups. Then head for the bath house shower doing the adrenaline shake.

Arm deformed, urgent care takes xray....broke. Gives tylenol and codine. does not touch the pain. See doc today bad break, no surgery due to age. He scribes me oxy and a real strong anti inflammatory.

Long and short bad yes but it could be worse.

Won't be one finger typing much, on drugs lol

oh dear, I m sorry to hear of the broken bones, but very happy to hear you all came out of the water, breathing. Let's see, 18 months after I broke my wrist, I suggest ... ask that no one give you food in ziplock bags (a bear with one hand), tie your shoes and forget about them for 7 weeks. Invest in a long handled shoe horn. If the Yorkies don't know how to "fetch for mama" yet, get them a'learning to be helpers. After all, Mama said, "save the dogs first!"
So far, I haven't seen a cup holder for a wrist cast, but it would be a great invention.

yep out of water breathing a good thing and zero damage to the pups the most important thing.

@addy1 Those pups better be really nice to you from now on and obey your every command. They are so lucky to have such a devoted pack leader...............I mean you saved their lives and you could'a drowned. Glad everything turned out ok for all of you. Now get on w/your healing so you can get on w/your life :)

@addy1 wow you shouldn't even be out there but nothing and no one will stop Superwoman
Had to direct them ie where to put which hive. Then neighbor did the branch cutting covering the openings so the bees reorient to their new home. Ow the bees fly back to old spot.
