Hubby was supposed to keep me from starting another project- not! Attempting to clear all brush and trees under 8" diameter on lower property. We have a lot of treesdamaged by the heavy snow. A little hazardous to cut down but no problems so far! Will have at least a cord of firewood when done.

Come do our back woods! I don't even walk into them. poison ivy, dropped trees, stickers. I leave it for the critters. Have enough to take care of without the woods included.

We keep walking paths cleared through our woods. The dogs love wandering & exploring down there!

Rainy day, so will finish taking down inside x-mas decor. Yesterday was sunny and balmy outside, so took down all outside lights. It's late for me this year as I was in NJ with granddaughter till Feb 6th.

I'm thinking about our bog. It was kind of a mess at the end of the season. Might remove a bunch of the gravel and see what the heck is going on down there - LOL !

Finished our taxes. My cpa firm does electronic forms, type in the info, upload the forms 1099's etc and hit send. Done! They get to Arizona in moments rather than trusting the mail. It does take me about a week to do them. Next year easier no rentals.

I always worry that Fed Ex will lose all of my original paperwork that I send to my accountant each year. So far it has never happened but what a nightmare if it ever did!

I MOW my woods to keep the vegitation down and keep the ticks from having somewhere to hide. that and the hitch hiker seeds
We do pretty much the same, but use a weed wacker. Although, pretty much nothing helps keep the ticks away during the height of their season. We pick them up just walking around in the yard. Mostly we have dog ticks, though, which are larger & easy to find/remove before they settle in.

This is the first year they offered the electronic system. Just love it!

I would take a picture of every page every form before I would send to AZ. They are not cheap, been doing my taxes for over 30 years now. Keep me out of trouble lol no way can I figure out depreciation, carry forward etc

Hope everybody is behaving! Which I know you are! No time or energy at the end of the day to chat...............

We are over at the boat, well our floating on the water condo............... I have been darn busy, installing honeycomb blinds, removing the 2001 metal venetian blinds that did not go up and down and some bent. What a job on a boat............small area trying to reach to drill in the holder. Non removable wood trim hiding it all. All done except on small blind over the stove. Only took 1.5 days lol.

And I spoiled myself the large ones are remote. Top down, bottom up! all 20 inches of them..................

Today............... and part of yesterday. Pulling up the snap down carpet on the fly deck and back deck. It is a bit old falling apart. We are getting a sea deck type flooring. Called aquatraction. The picture is not our boat. The gray is our boat.

So I am pulling the carpet and resealing all the joints with marine sealant. doing now rather than after the new stuff is GLUED down. At least it is still cool, easy to work out there.

Buy a boat be always busy and pass out funds, sure are supporting the economy right now...............like raising bees, always busy.
