Thanks, it is not corian, starts with a F just can't remember what I read in the boat. But it is a solid countertop color all the way through and it is some tough stuff. For a 20 year old countertop it was really not bad shape.

I used a aggressive compound and it took a lot of buffering to get those scratches to go away and they were not even real deep.

Had it almost done last trip but stopped and attacked again this trip all refreshed lol.

Finally found the screws holding it, access panel in the back behind the love seat.

We installed this one, air fryer, micro, convection, will do all I need done. Most of the time bring pre cooked food. But made a pizza this time (ie baked a precooked one)

Wow @addy1 your counters are beautiful ! We have dark granite in our kitchen and it's lost it's shine. I'm not sure how to restore it.
These are a corian sort of counter top. The color is through the entire top which makes it so you can not polish down to a underlay of wood. Original, later on, like 2005 or so they offered a upgrade to granite for some of the yachts.

Read this there is a granite polish, at least this one write up says there is. Buy a buffer, it saved me, well worth the 150 or so it cost. Not the most expensive, but did what I needed. Got it off a car detailing web site. And different grades of buffing pads.....................OR HIRE SOMEONE! LOL

We put granite in all of the rentals, made them look nice and the tenants didn't seem to be able to harm them.

Put it in this house also, love granite esp the ones with a neat pattern.

It can be polished @j.w but with actual stone it is much more of task it's just harder takes longer .. start with your granite counter installers they have to polish cut edges all the time the trick is keeping them pefectly flat if they are polished. i moved away from polish many moons ago i have honed granite it's sand blasted it's like leather texture not much of a shine needs sealing more often but the texture will never vary

Well! Finally got one of the Boss' security cams loose off a turret and asked the newb (YShahar ....sheesh, gonna go with Y) to get some action shots of our ridin' koi on moat patrol! Pretty good for a first attempt - she held the cam steady and didn't fall in! And that's WITH a malt in one hand, too! Will wait for j.w to practice on her goldie before we try getting action shots doing 360s off the water ski ramp! The whale was just pathetic when we tried using it!
I'll see your silly gif and raise you one quality moat patrol security image...
