I shut my pond down for the year. Season is officially over. Cold weather is forecasted and more small chances for snow.
With that done, all of my garden work is done for the year except for a small amount of seeding I'll do when we get our first decent snow.

Cleaned my filters, hopefully for the last time. Bog has been shut down for a while. Still need to remove more leaves from around the ponds before I remove the window screen covers.
Pond gloves ordered- water 48°!

Freezing butt off, bringing in kindling, and it's a long way to the wood shed in the snow w/a wheel barrow and can't find where hubby put the snow shovel! He's gone up north for the day so can't ask him, well could but already just wheeled it through the snow w/no problems.

a pretty good (first for the year) day writing; got 17 pages done. Now, to KEEP this jones going...figure I need about another 90 pages or so...then a bunch of editing (typically 5 once-overs) the rest of the winter till spring.

Most of you know my biggest indoor hobby is gaming, especially racing games.
Well, I was really surprised to open two racing games for Christmas. I was given both Forza Horizon 5 and SRX: The Game.
Very different types of racing games from each other, but both equally addicting to me. :) I also never stop being impressed by today's video game graphics.

The yacht microwave lcd panel was shaky, all we could do was hit a minute plus could never see anything on the screen. Well it died would not respond then cycled on and off. So we are trying to remove it. So far.................

The sucker will not budge I know there needs to be screws somewhere but no clue where, have not found the access from below. The carver FB group is having a good laugh on this one. They do say there is a access panel behind the love seat, so moving it today see what we have. Others say screw removal is by feel they are hard to find. Oh well in the end it will be gone. Hubby threatening to take the sawjaw to it!
