My Dell xps 13 had issues when I first bought it, bad hard drive, then the battery swelled, replaced it, then it would not recognize the new dell battery unless it felt like it, now flashes locking and shuts down.
After almost 6 months maybe longer I am tired of having my puter just shut down even while typing.

So I spent a week investigating new laptops. Finally bit the bullet on a new (2020) HP spectre 360 15t. In other words a convertible 15 inch touch screen HP. Now need to wait a month for it to arrive. It will get here right about when our new lil yorkie gets here.

It has excellent graphics, need to pick up a photo program and get back in to playing with my cameras.

My day off!!! I’ll spend this first part playing with kittens, reading, and having coffee, then I need to go do a deep clean in the kitchen. Smells like a mouse died under the fridge or stove, and considering the cats we have, that’s a strong possibility. I also want to enjoy a bit of time outside, my last batch of rose water I made went sour fast, so I’m thinking I’ll try a batch of rose infused coconut oil.
Bigger two kittens have hit the “explorer everything “ stage, and are out.

Went to go feed the outside critters. Found a pair of snakes ( non poisonous, other than that, not sure of species) mating in the dog fence. Went to get dad to show him, came back and the male was on his way out cause pups found them, bouncing and barking interrupted the moment I guess. I ended up moving female away to prevent pups from messing with her, got Musked. Walked around the yard a bit with dad, ended up finding a baby red eared slider! Sitting on the edge of the liner I need to repair still. I’m cool with turtles in my pond, except snappers, so now I think I’ll have to set up some kind of fence to keep unwanted turtles out.

So set up the qt “pond”, with guppies plants and the turtle. Guppies will be booming soon with all the misquote larva and algae, and the turtle can nibble plants and catch guppies. Need to cover most of it with chicken wire to keep the kingfisher out.

Spent last 2 days pulling all old fencing and posts around butterfly garden. Some of the t posts have been there over 15 years! Have a roll of new fence and new posts to put in to keep small critters out. No chance of keeping deer out with fence so bought a bunch of Deer Off stakes. Got air pump set up today and 3 airstones running in the one pond to help with string algae.

Trying to work on the deck, one darn guard bee won't back off. Of course flying toooooo fast to hit with the fly swatter. So back in the house until she decides to leave. The guard bees have stung me x 5 in the back yard this year, darn pissy bees. Think it is this weird weather we are having.

Just got back from my 2 hour walk. Noticed that the long horned steer herd was back in their pen over near the tree farm. Yesterday they had all gotten loose and were wandering the neighborhood! At least they were not aggressive to me as those long horns look awful sharp!

My bees are busy, they aren't bothering me, which is nice. I'm going to put some cactus type plants by my rocky corner, had people using it as a sit and smoke location a couple of years ago. I think a good sized yucca and an agave will be a deterrent, besides which nothing else grows there by awkward to reach weeds. should be a challenge, chiggers have already hatched.

We need some warm to get ours busy, been one wet cold spring. The hives are busy, it just seems that one or two decide to guard me without stopping until I get stung, or they get wrapped up in my hair and sting my head.
