Here's a snap of our gloomy day today, taken a few minutes ago off the front deck.
Lightly snowing.

It has it's drawbacks, but overall moving to the country was a good move.

Mid 40s today so hosed out all filters with tap water as temps Monday & Tuesday are supposed to be highs in 20s. Still hoping the ponds don't freeze over but ready if they do.

15°F out and yet somehow it's pouring rain.

No, wait. That's just the tears pouring out of my eyes after watch the Green Bay Packers season end.

It is freezing outside, though. The weather over the next two days is supposed to be the coldest we've seen all Winter. Windchills expected to be as low as -30°F.

Freezing to death here too! About minus 20 Celsius right now. That's about minus 3 Fahrenheit. Not really that cold considering we usually can expect to get minus 40 below in January!

Can't complain, cause tomorrow will be brighter than today, cause spring is on the way and we get a little bit more sunshine every day!!

Temps aren't bad here at 46 but it came w/the rains. Not really seeing any horrible parade of storms like they promised tho. Taper off now rain so I can get in my walk please.

Tonight getting dark now cause the sun set at 4:52pm in Medicine Hat. I

Must have been dreaming of spring cause right now it's sure cold at -17C (1 F) . Ponds all running with one red 1500 watt floating cattle heater.
The little plastic tent over half the third pond from bottom is still not froze. Everything appears to still run good. First winter for new upper 4th pond.
Good News! Tomorrow should be warmer and brighter!
