@Troutredds yes it is nice and I will take it but when you just came back from such nice warm temps and plenty of sunshine it does hurt to get your toes frozen just running out to check the mail

27°F & we've had a little light snow.
30°'s next week but we seem to be consistently in Winter now. I knew the nice weather wasn't going to last, but on the bright side, the countdown to starting seedlings begins! 2 months!

Before we got married, my wife would run down to the rural mailbox barefoot in the dead of winter to check for mail. Of course, it was only about a quarter mile, both ways. That's why I married her!@Troutredds yes it is nice and I will take it but when you just came back from such nice warm temps and plenty of sunshine it does hurt to get your toes frozen just running out to check the mail

So much for the 72 on Christmas- it is now snowing. Forecast is for a high of 34 and single digit wind chills. I got my large aerator pulled yesterday and got pond breathers and heaters in. I just have to label cords as hubby has pond duty for next couple of weeks.
