dropping to 43 here, right now it is 55. Waves still pounding. No swimming signs up everywhere.

You guys should consider moving to a warmer climate.

It's really started warming up over the last week. Ice over pond is starting to melt. Saw my only goldfish in the pond two days in a row. Haven't seen the koi yet. No floating fish so thinking they are all doing good.

Lost our power last night for several hours. No problem, back up generator works great. Except no cable tv or phone. We got through it watching dvd's of Boardwalk Empire and cell phone. Life goes on and boy did that wind rip through here like crazy! Sky was clear w/lots of stars.............in other words, no rain! Skylights covered w/plastic so no more leaks. Will fix them soon in better weather.

Thanks @sissy and I went there and bought some too except I wanted the med size food for the goldfish and it's out but they will ship when they get it in so got the santa discount. I ordered some other kinds too so got free shipping over $49. What a deal!

Alberta broke some warm temperature records from the 1890's this week.
This is not turning out to be the bad winter that the Farmer's Almanac predicted.... so far....

Like the so far...... temps are bouncing all over the place. I just checked our pond there is no ice on it.

Right, and I have no ice around the edges of my pond right now.

Winter has been plenty hard here. It started snowing Monday, and hasn't stopped yet. The pine tree limbs are bent down pretty good.

Wow we have had some really nice weather lately. Pond is still over 75 percent frozen but most of our snow has melted. Today a high of 43.
