It only got up to 40 degrees here, today. Windy and cloudy too.
No long hair on Mama or her other mate (pug). Well all I know for sure is puppy is looking lots lIke Bears side of family. The little Mama was here all spring, all the time, sneaking into our yard thew the gap in the old gate.... until I fixed that gate later in the summer. I told that woman that she was getting in threw the gate and that I was worried for her that Poppy might bite her. That lady is two doors down in a small rental house, and her power goes out cause they forget to pay the bill and they partied all summer long well her little Mexican dog was running off with Bear! Her dog is about 25 pounds I think.. Bear is about 80 pounds. Bear may look big but he is not that tall, little shorter than a Shepard.. I think if she stood under him that would work maybe.... Who knows for sure, but my vet says "stranger things have happened"!
My little Boston Terrier (15#) got bred by the neighbor's dog that was every bit as tall and large as your Bear dog last spring. The timing would be 4 months ago, so the mama do would have been bred in June for her to have a 7 week old puppy now. I'd say it's very possible. Looks like little Rio is going to take after her mama in size, though, and she's ADORABLE!!!! Big dogs do not mean they control the little ones. Addy can probably attest to this as well ... those little ones usually take care of themselves just fine. And, puppies rule the roost, no matter the size of their playmates.
I am going to wait until about 8 this morning and then call Sissy. I will let you all know what I learn. Her phone is not set up for texts, I already tried that, and I was gone Fri/Sat to the Covered Bridge Festival with my sister, she left yesterday afternoon, and I'm just now catching back up. Crossing my fingers all is well, and she is just extremely busy!

Very nice.
Our fall here is lasting longer than 5 minutes for a change.
It figures, since I bought the new snowblower attachment, I'll bet we don't see snow til February..
