@sissy Did I miss something? Did you lose some of your fish?

Temps are cooler here than normal today, only 64 degrees and supposed to drop to 48 degrees tonight! That just isn't right for this time of year o_O

This is farm country and there are no laws on it so animal control will not do any thing until they bite some one or kill live stock .Lady told me from animal control to buy a chicken and get a pic of him killing it ,can you believe that ,I was shocked .

Wow, No I don't believe that.....I guess what I don't understand either is don't people care what happens to their dogs? I would worry not only about any damage they might do but also what might happen to them.

I got some new neighbors a few months back that has a cat that they allow to roam free. Twice I caught it trying to catch my fish and the neighbors just said that it was my fault for having fish in the back yard. So I'm thinking about taking my Comets out and putting an alligator gar in the pond just to see what happens.

They don't seem to care and the ones that do either have an electric fence or a chain link fence like mine .I care about my dogs .Here farm dogs run free to protect the farm animals and herd them but they don't leave the farm .This is a small neighborhood that was established by the builder back in 2000 and I bought my land in 2003 and at that time there were only 8 houses and then the land was sold at auction and the dimwit who bought it built the worst quality houses I have ever seen .He built 11 homes and then stopped because it was not worth it to build out here ,it took to long to sell each 1

This is what happens when all the rain that was supposed to fall in North Texas falls somewhere else that already has plenty. 0 inches here 10 inches there. It would be nice if they get 5 and we get 5. Lol.

I live in the country, and have only 2 other neighbors within a mile of my house. I am sad to say my two neutered males DO roam, but I ask often if they are EVER in anyone's yard, causing any problems, and to date have had no "yes" answers. I have a female Boston, that I breed for puppies, she is nice. I keep her in the house, and when outside, she never leaves the yard, except to go across the road (remember, almost no traffic, and then it's slow) to hunt the bullfrogs in the ditch. When she comes into heat, I guess the neighbors that keep their males un-neutered (one is a mutt, the other a gangly Golden Retriever ...) expect me to keep their dogs out of my yard. I realize it IS my responsibility to keep my female safe, but when I have to carry her from the house to the outside pen, and have to kick away dogs to get there ... I'm finding it harder and harder to accept this. Did get her bred to the right dog, so hoping I have puppies to show for it in 9 weeks. :)
Beautiful day again today, like the last 2. Very low humidity during the day, and temps only in the low 80's. VERY abnormal for August day in Illinois! Loving it ... but comments are running wild about "does this mean fall is going to be early, and what is winter going to be like?"

CE, Sorry to have to break the bad news, but winter is in the way early I think, flies were invading the house like crazy this past week, now suddenly we went from "way to darn hot", humid and smokey" to overcast and much cooler today. If you are riding on the back of the bike all the way up here, it might be alot colder by the time you get here CE.... Only 63 degrees this morning, and as soon as the calender turns to September, nights and early mornings can get really cold! I remember one year we had snow late August!

Overcast but no rain and 67f. Hubby back to painting the shop now as the rain is dwindling away each day and should be back to the 80's in a couple.
We have to grab it while we can here

Humid and in the upper 90's. Typical Aug weather.
How do you put the Weather Underground stickers on you signature. I found the stickers but can't figure out the signature part.

Temperature has warmed back up to 77 degrees this afternoon. Went out shopping and spent 100 dollars for new outdoor power bars for the pond system, and new separate power bar for all the underwater plug in lights, cords were tangled mess and old indoor power bar that I had been using (was supposed to be used only indoor)but I (used it outdoors) for only the 15 years or so, kept tripping cause it is shorting out from all the plugin nightmare I had going on forever! Now the lights will come on automatic and there is two extra circuit interrupters should anything short out. It is now all on "outdoor" heavy duty pre approved outlets. (NORMA) and seems to be working good. The NORMA plugin boxes have ground stakes and should work now good for another 15 or 20 years.... by then I should have everything figured out! Ha Ha HA!

@Aaron S
Type this into your signature exactly but change the state and city to your location:

Arlington.gif

So change the WA to OK and then Arlington to Oklahoma City
and hope it works.
