Addy- I had 10 small koi fry in my 50gal. preform up front . Moved them to the big pond last week. Preform iced over last 2 mornings. Just hoping the little ones don't get eaten! A couple were only 1 1/2". 26 here this morning.

I have to catch the fish in the front yard pond, so many leaves fell in that pond cause I did not put a net. but scooped them out, now the water is very dark from the leaves. That pond just has a few rosy minnows left, going to catch the rest of them today, got about half of them out last night. Cleaned all the filters in the main ponds and ran fresh water into the top pond and flowed it out the bottom pond for a little while.

Right now it is only 27 degrees this morning. This afternoon we should get to almost 60 degrees, but tomorrow winter is COMMING!!!!! Sunday won't be a fun day, supossed to rain and snow and get to a low of only 16 degrees!!!!! (Minus 9 celsius)

I bought myself that chimina for my little out door shelter (with the birthday money hubby gave me) It burns very nice and the smoke goes up to the top of the large unbrella and out the vent holes.. It works much better than I thought and one fire log thows off lots of heat for all around inside my Bug free Zone, now turned Woman Cave! This way I can enjoy the pond a little longer this year. My best pond buddy came over last night for a glass of wine and to help me play Halloween better!!! Ha ha HA! She does halloween too but she won't take out her halloween stuff until the "day of halloween". We had a nice glass of wine and enoyed the pond lights from the warmth of the fire.

Sounds like us we don't care what it looks like, we know we can fix anything. Neither of us could remember what this house looked like, we just loved the land.

Beautiful day, sun shinning not a cloud in the sky :). High of 57, sitting on the deck and just soaking it up. Next week daytime highs in the 40's. Tarped my waterfall yesterday and it's catching a lot of leaves. Tomorrow night and Monday possible snow, thinking its not going to stay but who knows.

We just got a "snowfall warning" issued, I can't see it coming, right now it is 64 degrees and it is way too nice outside right now, wearing shorts and going to get more leaves picked up before the "ugly weather " comes tomorrow!

It was in the 60's today but getting chilly and got a few gardens here done today .Plants trimmed and cut back .True addy what matters is if the value is there on a house .I have priced out some of what I should need to fix it up ,new flooring and new cabinets .Did a background on it from the Martinsville GIS sight and 2 owners in the past, first was 30 years and second was only 5 years and they lost it and it has been up for sale through 5 real estate company's in just over 3 years .No one wants her poor thing .

We bought this house after the crash, he had it at 600k, no way for a small rancher in rural md. What we paid has stayed stable since we have been here.

Well the 27 wiped out my tomatoes, various plants have gone to sleep for the winter. Now time to go around grooming the dead stuff, sometime this week. Lilies still pushing up blooms, but I am going to cut them back, they are starting to mush.

36 right now, but during the day we have to open doors the house warms up so much. Low angle of sun coming through our sun windows. Wind was howling yesterday.

I need to get my lilies cut back as well. The last couple of cold night wiped out everything. Going to wait for the warm up this week to trim and place waterlilies for the winter. Too sick now to play in freezing water. Finally slowed down so my cold could catch me!
