Currently 19 degrees, feels not too cold out there, its still dark outside but I can see heavy cloud cover. The temperature should get to above freezing today (32°) and a little warmer tomorrow.

Happy St. Patty's Day! To all my pond friends, may the luck of the Irish be with you!! :)
19 degrees???? What is that? That sounds soooo cold to me. I can't even begin to know what 19 let alone 9 or -10 degree weather is like. Yikes!

It's the beginning of Summer here. 77 degrees at noon, today.

Happy St. Patrick's! Peace and Good Cheers!

We had a bit of snow yesterday afternoon, big flakes mixed in with tiny ones, but only lasted about 10 minutes, then went to rain and thunder! It was thundering like crazy after it got dark, but didn't notice any lightening. Crazy weather. Water everywhere, but after last year's drought, I'm ok with that this time of year. Now, Spring is 2 days away, Mother Nature. Can you please switch over to spring-like weather soon???? Thanks!

Tomorrow is spring, but you would never know it now, pond is mostly covered in ice, power went out for a short time last night, something in my greenhouse must have tripped the breaker! Caught the power outtage just in time to save the greenhouse and pond from freezing cause I was still up, but what if I had fallen asleep! I need an alarm for my breaker downstairs to sound in house if power goes out when I am asleep! Can you even get an alarm for that?

Currently 1 whole degree Fahrenheit! Going to find something green in my greenhouse cause outside is cold and snow is back on the ground!!

Thanks Event Horizon, that was a quick response! Sounds just like the thing I need! I could just plug it in and it would work great. Will have to find one for sure! Trouble is that outlet is outside, but I may hear it from the bedroom, an that is better then nothing! :)

My fish are getting antsy in their tank on the porch, our weather goes from one day at 72 back to the 30's/40's and then I see next week it's suppose to be in the 50's and 60's...come on already spring! Such a pretty blue sky finally today but windy with gusts 30 mph...ok I know it's March and March winds but argh!

Not very Springy here yesterday either. We had hail, not a lot but not making me very hopeful that the weather here is going to swing wildly in the heat direction in the next 2 days. Windy and chilly feeling now but sun is trying to poke through those dark clouds. Looks like a good day to do the taxes.........if there is such a thing as a good day for that

Weather much nicer this afternoon, the warm sun is turning the yard from ice to snow to yuck and muck! Currently above freezing at 33 degrees. Tomorrow should get a high of 43 degrees, which will be not too bad for first day of spring!

Golly you guys, I think I'm feeling a little guilty for planting my Tomatoe's, Squash and Pepper plants, today. By the time Spring hits in your area's, I'll be floating in my pond trying to stay cool. Just kidding. But I will be having the water running on me somehow...hose, sprinkler or kiddy pool...just to stay cool.
