Sounds like lots of moving and possible moving going on here! So happy for you, Sissy, and Larkin, remember, things always work out for the best! Sometimes, the best is the first thing you find, other time you have to search for years. It's possible that house near you is just what your friends need, so I hope they do at least some comparison shopping around and don't jump into things too quickly, but I Hope they do buy close!
ICSD, I remember your pond drained mostly out somehow, I think faulty pump line maybe, but why was it still empty? Did you may have a leak you needed to find first before you could fill it back in? I'm sooo sorry to hear about that! Again, let me know if I can help you out at all! I'm not far, and if you need help digging out some weekend (after this weekend, I'm painting in my cousin's house this weekend LOL), just PM me and see if I'm free! Seriously, I would be happy to come give you a hand some weekend. :) Hope things dry up by you! I think we are supposed to get light snow on Fri, but other than that, hopefully not much moisture. Good luck! And, in my opinion, if you can go bigger, now is the time to do it!

Haha, well, the way I figure it, I have time now, not dating, not spring or summer time, so best time to offer to come help! Maybe someday I'll find me a good man and have less free time to just take off and help others out! My cousin thought I was joking when she (jokingly) asked if anyone wanted to come help them paint their house inside! I said, "Yep, let me know." She thought I was joking, and when I told her I was serious, she cried! She said she was not looking forward to the work involved, until I offered to come help, and now it's more like a weekend vacation and we will have tons of fun painting together. Life throws all sorts of offers out there for me lately, and I'm trying to grab as many as I can while I'm able to help others out! I'm always up for helping a friend in need. ALWAYS!

My outside temp says 34. Started the day out sunny, but as the sun comes up, the clouds roll in, already cloudy. Supposed to have a chance of light snow tonight. I'm hoping not much if any accumulation, and starts and ends tonight, when I don't have to drive in it. Otherwise I'll have to drive my gas guzzling truck to Indiana tomorrow after work! Yuck.

It snowed beautiful snow big flake covering every branch snow, then it melted. We hit 47 today.
We are going to be driving to new jersey for extended weekends. We went up for a family gathering, my one sister has been working on her house for 15 years, we are going to go up and help her finish it up. ( a lot to do too)

No pretty snow here and guess we won't get anymore for this year. Oh well at least it didn't rain here today.

Beautiful snow, Addy, and just the kind I like. Take a quick picture, then let it melt away. It was I think upper 50's here today, then the wind changed from southerly to NWerly by afternoon. Cold front coming, but not that bad. Maybe few snowflakes tonight until early a.m. I purposely did not load the few things up in my car tonight, as "Murphy's Law" says if I put all the stuff in the car tonight, it will snow and I will have to drive my truck tomorrow. Heading to Newburgh, IN tomorrow after work going to help my cousin and her hubby paint the inside of their house Sat. and Sun. Going to load up 5' step ladder (they have 9 or 10' ceilings in some rooms she said) and dog crate (in the a.m. ... Denali is going to work with me tomorrow, so I don't have to backtrack after work to get her), and few clothes. Tractor has small round bale loaded on it to put out for the horses in the a.m. Thought I had lots to do tonight, but not really. Will turn air and water bubblers back on in the a.m., since supposed to get down to low 20's Sat. and Sun. a.m. I get back on Monday probably about noon.
Now, if I could just remember the lady's name that is from "southern IN" (I think she also lives in Newburgh!), and if she was home on Monday (President's Day, some businesses are not working) I could make a "pond" visit before I head home! I'll have to check my PM's ....
