Please explain what rain is! Haven't seen any in 10 days!

It wasn't much - only .17", but I'll take it. There have been 'scattered thunderstorms' in our immediate area pretty much every day lately, but they keep scattering NOT at our house!

Ugh, MISERABLE! Currently 91 degrees, 42% humidity, high UV index. I'm staying inside in the AC. Absolutely horrid day out there. I imagine that I'll have to top the pond off to the tune of 2-3 inches tomorrow after it bakes in this oven-like misery all evening. I HATE summer.

Per the news we broke the number of above 90 days in July record, 25 days, today will be 26. 35 days for the summer so far.

Seattle reached 94 yesterday and i'm glad i took the day off from digging. today started off w/ overcast but the clouds have burned off butt we are still in the mid-60's for now. we are expected to hit 84. i think i could put in 3 hours of digging after work.

I think we got to 89 yesterday,glad it was not 94! It is 74 right now and feels good!

Raining raining raining, A lot of areas under tornado watch, flood watch, flash flood watch, high water watch. Calling for 7 inches of rain in areas. Some areas rain coming down at 3-4 inches a hour. Our home is out of the area, except for rain, so far, the boat is right in the middle of it.

I have a new water feature! This is the walkway above one pond. At one point it was 6" deep an d the top edge of the pond was under water. I opened all drains on filters and the water was still rising. Left them open for 45 minutes while I dealt with plugged drains up front and finally got levels down.

Addy, do you have anyone keeping an eye on your boat for you? This storm is way worse than I expected. 2 confirmed tornadoes in our county so far and seems like weather is getting worse.

There are some live aboards that have our phone # told them to call if anything happens we need to take care of. Of course would not head over until it was safe to drive. We will probably drive over Wednesday / Thursday, to confirm the status check for any issues.

If you are still at Annapolis landing marina in Back Creek that is well protected from damaging winds and since there isn’t going to be much in the way of tidal surge your boat should be fine. Those marinas in Back Creek have been through way worse storms than this one without sustaining damage. We rebuilt a decent chunk of Annapolis landing and the Marina next to it (Port Annapolis). Raining hard here just outside ofAnnapolis and windy. The dock masters at those places should let you know if anything is going on as well.
