Got into the 40's again today. I did have to clean up the driveway after our snow. We got about two inches.
I'm still not feeling good. Could be worse, but still not fun. Hoping tomorrow is a better day. Starting to run low on medicine and cough drops.

Very windy and lost power for 2 hours this morning when a tree fell over the roadway and knocked the lines down w/a couple of loud booms. Warm here now at almost 60f! No rain, yay!

38f and I see the sunlight behind the big clouds! Rained all night long and very windy. No wind now and sorry to say it won't get up in the 60's again today.

Sissy not sure if your aware those are more of a specialty bit. They are a down stroke cut which is perfect for your laminate flooring. For cutting plywood you should switch to a up stroke cut and if you couple that with an orbital stroke on the saber saw it will cut like butter BUT it will be a rough cut /burs chipped edge but if you cut from the opposite side /bottom / of the ply you wont burn up blades. The down stroke blade forces the operator to work harder at the cut and heat is generally the result thus burning your bits out.

I have vinyl plank flooring and have had a problem with saw blades like this before .I was just cutting pieces of plywood a quarter of a quarter of inch thick .I have always bought dewalt or lennox or skil blades and only got these because it was there and I was in a hurry .The cuts were just for the gaps around the fireplace that for some reason the people who put down my floors originally cut out .Not sure what they were thinking when they did that .I could see they did it because it was filled in with caulk and then the nailed the edges of the laminate floor .Just like the rest of the house that they did ,caulk and nails .I guess floating floors were new to them and they did not know what they were doing .That is why I am doing my new floors myself .There may be good flooring installers out there but they do not live around here .I wish people could see the mess I have had to deal with .4 bags of caulk so far .I guess caulk fixes everything in their world .The corner after I was done doing it right .Do not mind the black that is the underlayment showing in the spacing .You can see some of the caulk on the fireplace that I could not get off .I have bought new baseboards and quarter round also .

One guy that came to work for me many years ago . Had an expression that he shared with me PUTTY AND PAINT MAKE IT WHAT IT AINT. As i was looking at about the work finish job and caulking i had ever seen from anyone. Needless to say he was dismissed that same day he started

The blades you used could be a bad batch but it's not so much the maker as it is the direction of the teeth on the blade . Thos are a fantastic finishing blade great for laminates. i would use no other blade when cutting laminate counter tops prefinished hardwoods.

Temperature has dropped and it's only 14°F today. It is suppose to go back up to mid-40s tomorrow, but then the Weather Channel is suggesting we're about to get hit with some heavy snow into the weekend. It'll be our first significant snowfall this winter.

I guess winter has finally arrived.
