42f and still dark outside w/I think some clouds and sun later.

I see no snow at your homeland house @addy1 and actually looks kind of sunny there.

No snow predicted yet, nights are hanging in the 30's, day pop up to high 40's too warm for the pond to ice up.

@SherrysPond If you love rain you would love it here for sure! After awhile of this wet stuff in fall and winter we are all quite bored w/it all and wish we were somewhere drier. We stayed in a little motel in Pahrump once a long time ago when driving to Las Vegas.

j.w. , Its grown a lot in the last 10-15 years, but the summers are almost unbearable. If you want anything green, you have to water every day, sometimes twice a day. I have a friend from Washington ( Castle Rock area) and he says he got tired of all the rain. But its so beautiful up there...........I bet it smells clean and fresh all the time! I'm really thinking of retiring up there.......

@SherrysPond we have camped along the Oregon coast and it has the most beautiful beaches and scenery. I think you would like it in Oregon. All of the Pacific Northwest is green and lovely except the Seattle/Tacoma metro areas. All ruined w/homeless sites and drugs/crime. Well I guess that stuff is moving in everywhere unfortunately :(

JW has great rain and not sure how she handles mowing the grass ,but to me a little to many dreary rainy days make me bored .I have to be outside in my bare feet .When we get spring rains it can last for days and I get so bored it is horrible ,plus it cuts in on my flea market days .I love winter here ,cold at night but warm during the day .It has been so nice out that I have gotten lots done .Even reseeded my lawn .Deer are becoming a pain as they eat everything and then yesterday I came out of the basement and there was a horse standing there .Had to take it back down to Marty,s field and take her back home .Called Marty and told him so he could check for a hole in the fence because the gate was closed .Country life and critters . ;) :)

@sissy at the times of the year that the grass grows we only mow when dry. We do have dry days then at times. I am not afraid of the rain and it does not stop my everyday 6 mile walks.

I dress up in rain gear and take an umbrella and I have the whole place to myself to explore.
No rain today yet but it's on the way later
