Really fantastic photos JB! Thanks for those!

The weather here in northeastern P.A. is brutal now. Winds kicking for two days now. Gust 20-40 mph. Kept waking me up last night. Ice covered tree branches falling all over. Shattering ice hitting the house. Temp today low -8F, high +2F.
I don't know what the wind chill factor is, but you can't last too long out there.
You know it's bad when the wind gust numbers are way higher than the temp numbers!

Our next storm comes later today. To my surprise, we would see another 6"-10".

I see a lot of chances for snow in the forecast, and a lot of cold weather. I guess winter is finally here.

Winter here usually comes in Feb. or March and snow never lasts but a day or two .Came home from grocery shopping yesterday to a horse in my yard .Had to walk it back down the road to the pasture and put her back in .She sure did scare the cats and my chihuahua's .Called Marty to tell him also in case a fence is down .Supposed to be more rain Thursday and temps back into the 40' s and 50's

Uhgg, woke up this morning with no water! So cold and windy we had a pipe freeze. It was in an unheated closet in the basement. Ran a portable electric heater in there and it cleared. Luckily no burst in the copper pipe. I guess we caught it in time where it must have been just a small section. 22 years in this house (northeastern P.A.) and never had that problem. So much for global warming!

On top of the 6"-10" coming tonight, rumors of two or more systems coming this weekend and early next week.

Too much winter at once! :cold:

We've got about 5" or 6" overnight, I'd guess. It's still snowing, though, and isn't expected to move out until noon or later.

Serious cold weather. It's currently 5°F, and windchills could be as cold as -30°F tomorrow morning, but it gets worse next week. Temps could get as low as -20°F with a -45°F windchill. Oh, and we also had another round of snow on the way.

That's possibly some of the coldest weather I've seen. I've seen windchills get that cold before, but the coldest temperature I can remember was -15°F. It's so strange how weather works sometimes.

I like snow as long as it only lasts a day and then gets warm and melts .26 degrees this morning but supposed to get up to 46 degrees and a beauty of a sunny day
