Oh boy sounds fun and exciting to me! Ok I guess if you can stay home but for drivers not so good.

It can be fun. Although, it's a bummer that we're getting this kind of snow before we've even reached December.

No blizzard conditions yet. The snow we have so far is extremely wet. Almost slush. Not gonna be fun to clean up tomorrow morning.

@JBtheExplorer I haven't been outside yet, but our weather went from zero to 60 in about 30 seconds yesterday. We got out early to do some grocery shopping, anticipating the weather. As we were coming home around 1:00 PM the snow was just starting. Made one last stop and by the time we got back in the car 5 minutes later it was full on giant snowflakes. I went out to clear the driveway about 6PM and we had 6 inches of heavy, wet snow. It snowed all night long, so I'd guess we ended up with 9 or 10 inches. But the snowfall line was very clear cut - my boss lives about 40 minutes north of me and they barely got any snow at all.

It got light and powdery at some point and then the wind picked up, so lots of drifting on top of icy roads. All schools are cancelled for today - that has to be some record for the earliest cancellation!

I did manage to finish the last of the winterizing in the yard and garden yesterday morning - got all the patio umbrellas in the garage and the last of the garden tools and what not moved inside. You never know with the snow cover here - we may not see grass again until March, or this could all melt next week!

The blizzard turned out to be pretty weak here, and I'm OK with that. Hard to tell exactly how much we got since it was blowing pretty hard overnight, but I haven't seen anything over 4". Quite a few small branches and sticks down around the neighborhood. Other than that, it was a pretty normal snowfall.

Plain ole rain here but winds expected to throw tree branches around tonight. Almost up to 50f. Sure wish we were having some of the white stuff falling. I would accept 4" @JBtheExplorer :)
9" is nice @Lisak1

Just over an inch of snow last night. Paying close attention to the next storm this weekend, but it looks to be mostly rain for this area.

Same here @JBtheExplorer - another couple of inches on the ground again this morning. Nice and light though - easy to clear. And it's supposed to be near 50 degrees on Saturday, so I'm hoping for lots of melting. We have some GIANT boulders of snow at the end of the driveway that the plow left Sunday night that my snowblower won't touch. I cleared a path big enough to get our car in and out, but the rest is essentially barricaded.

1st day of summer and 18 degrees at 9:30am, max of 23 today. they are predicting a hot summer this season but it has been a cool first day and spring was mild as well . All the fish are fine but the frogs don't hang around any more which is sad because the kids loved them.

We're having a nice mild winter here so far.
Hanging around freezing and only a few inches of snow on the ground.
Hunting season is over today so it's safe to out for walks again, lol.
Only a few more weeks until the days start getting longer.
