Luckily both ponds are raised so nothing got in to them. When I got up the ponds were fine. 30 minutes later, half the power was shorted out. No more ground stakes for power supplies! Just installed a 100watt post lamp on remote control so I can check on things after dark without walking down there.

Calling for more rain.
We have not had as much up here as others have had. But it is wet, sticky and hot!

Nice and sunny today. Lots to do in garden but busy working to death in freezer at work.
Got lots of chewable gummy vitamins for my mother. Lots of C and D vitamins and she is doing better. Plus we now have Organic Maple water, fresh from the maple trees here in Canada. Supposed to be good for mind and Alzheimer's I heard, so got lots of that for my sweet mommy to drink. Only available at The Super Store!

Ya, more rain here too. The main road in & out of our development is washing out! One lane is gone. The other access is a flood zone and as of this afternoon, the water is up to the road.

Our roads are dry, love our hills.
We need to be DRY for a while, watching all the flooding from yesterdays rain on the news. Trees down. So wet the trees are falling. I stay away from all of our trees if the wind is blowing even a little.

They say sun coming back.

Well we had a freak storm yesterday after all 4hat extreme heat that cane up from somewhere down south. It was so hot and windy I had to hide for afternoon inside house to stay cool. Then came a really bad wind storm, trees are down everywhere and power was out for hours. The wind was so bad up in the tree tops, trees were bending down and everything was flying around.
Then there was a large crack and bang, and the biggest tallest tree for blocks around fell two doors away from my house. The tip of the tree looks like its touched my house and broke. The rest is laying on top of my next door neighbors house!

Bummer! Glad the tree only hurt houses! Now what a mess it made!

We are getting dumped on w/lots of rain............well it's trying to stop now but heard it coming down hard last night. 48f right now.
