We were missed by the worse, unreal rain coming down, thunder etc. We got a inch quickly, other places got 10 inches, quickly. Slow moving paused thunderstorms.

Our house is safe, we are at the top of the hill, not bottom. The pond overflowed for over a hour.
Just east of us 8 inches fell, a little further east over 10 inches fell. Ellicott City flooded again. in 2016 they were wiped out, they have been wiped out again. They are about a 1/2 drive from us.

Last storm 6 miles west from us 8 inches fell. Our slight elevation, our small hills seem to save us from the worse, it always seems to miss us.

We are worried what we will see in Baltimore, heading there soon.

We are having beautiful spring weather, almost too hot this week with temps in the 80's. Caught that fairy running around front yard so I put her in that cage...

My yard is slowly coming together.

Hot 76 here yesterday and woke up to 38 this morning.
Still have a couple of streams in the ravine that are covered in snow and ice.
Rain for the rest of the week.

I'm cold.................48f bah humbug!
I always get your weather and now the cold wet weather is here. Rained all day yesterday and today. Came down so much something kept shorting out the koi ponds. I think I finally got everything dry so ponds won't short out and quit running!.
Where is the sun?

The rain needs to stop! The entire hillside above the ponds washed out last night! Both drains got plugged and all the mulch washed away. Power kicked out to 5 out of 6 pumps this morning so no more cords on ground.

Boy rain really did a # on @mrsclem and hope you can fix it all up w/o it having hurt the fish!
Yep @callingcolleen1 we have more cold mornings to send ya but it does get better in the afternoons here. Supposed to get a little rain later this evening.
Not good to leave cords laying out when rains are really bad. We here mostly just get lots of showers and not much torrential downpours or we would be in trouble too.
