Gorgeous day and might make it to 80!
in the 90's and humid .But got hubby's tv mounted .Who said you need help .Hubby's boxes of baseball cards were a big help in mounting it .I love this tv mount off ebay as it came with a level .Just have to take the feet off and put the board over to hide the screws on the mount .I used oak and wanted it mounted to 2 studs not 1 .I have to stain the oak and put the other pieces up but 1 hour it took .View attachment 110660 View attachment 110661 View attachment 110662 View attachment 110663
It could have been 1 stud but better safe than sorry .I left the legs on to help balance it on the boxes of baseball cards .I had to hold the tv with one hand while I got the bolt in the hole for the 2 parts of the bracket .Remember I am 64 years old and only 5 foot 2 inch's tall so hard when tv is slightly higher than you .I took the legs off after the pic was taken and then reset the power cords into the new outlet .I will finish hiding the bolts today but have to go to the post office first with 30 boxes and go to get fertilizer for the lawn since w are going to get some rain .
I got this kit off ebay 13 dollars with free shipping and it came with lag screws and a level .None of the other kits I bought off ebay came with all this extra stuff .Extra screws and washers for every screw .It was the easiest kit I ever installed .I ordered 1 from same person for the 60 inch tv .Studs on interior walls are 16 inch's on center and 2x6 studs on outside walls are 24 inch's on center with a thermal break on each side of them
