I saw on the weather channel Washington had bad storms also .So far not a dsrop of rain here but plenty of dew to go around .

yep the white house area .So far not a drop of rain but at least a cool 89 degrees out .Did get more done but now time to say in for awhile .I set off bug bombs in the basement .Time to treat inside and outside so they don't come inside during the heat .So can't do anything down there for 24 hours

Yesterday we had a tornado hit Kent Island at 130am, it started out as a water spout. A #2 tornado, very rare here.
At least it was only shortly on the ground, no one was seriously hurt.

Today cooler, cloudy and less humid.

83 and I'm working outside shoveling dirt and throwing mulch while the sweat runs off of me like a river. Have to take lots of water breaks in my chair in the shade or I will melt into nothingness.

85 but they say it feels like 88 but clouds help make it nice mowing .At least the shade from them does

Finally broke the streak, 40 days straight with temps over 90* but yesterday it only got to 88. Then wind, rain, hail. It was wonderful!
It was 91 today.

raining like a mo fo been emptying out 4-6" or more each day for 3 days now.
(most likely gotta do again friday ) next pond will have a overflow system so i don't have to worry about fish on the lawn ( only happened once )

We are being warned we have over 4 inches of rain coming starting tomorrow eve. They are saying massive flooding etc. our house is up on a hill so we are safe house wise, pond will get a great water change over.

Gosh I never thought I would hear myself saying that we could use some of that rain @addy1 as we have had no rain, well maybe a drip on my forehead one day but none measurable in our town. None in the forecast either. Looking at your cams right now but don't see anything yet but looks rather windy. Enjoy your refill.
