We've moved on to worse places down here in California. Horrible flooding,cold and wet and blowing us off the road. Great vacation so far. Going to try to cross over to AZ tomorrow. Might not be good there either. We have 2 months to see so it should get better....................can't get much worse.

It's finally melting! We had a heavy snow year with as much as 3' on the ground and over 20" for a month. Parts of my pond/stream are starting to come out of the white stuff!!! I can hardly wait to have it all visible. It's a windy 38F today, we've been getting 2-3" of wet snow at night, only to melt during the day, so things are very soggy. Because of all the compacted snow, it looks like my pond is 2" deeper than the edges. The ice under the snow and surface water is at least 8" thick still.

We brought the rain to California! Yuck it's awful here near Stockton right now. Lots of flooding everywhere and high wind warnings. Where is my sunshine?

Another storm has been hitting there and there does not seem to be any let up in the storms coming to California

Hopefully Az will heal from their rain by the time we arrive. If not at least it might be warmer rain.

I see outside that wet snow has arrived from the leftover California storms... They headed all the way here after they were done with JW...
Working on my Guppy tanks and got this new plant that likes to grow half sticking out of top of little tank... Might try some in shallow areas of pond come spring. Also mixing the wild "minama sub species guppy. I had thought they were "Endlers guppies" but now realize that my oldest guppy colony from 1991 is in fact a wild sub species guppy. I am trying to cross breed them with fancy guppies again in the smaller separate little blue tank.

Nice tanks, @callingcolleen1. I used to have a few large ones....cichlids in one and assorted tropical in the others. Now, I am down to 1 little tank. I would love to have a dedicated aquarium room, but I keep getting voted down by the powers to be.

We are officially in a moderate drought. Only 1-2 inches of snow since 1/1 2 inches of rain.

Today cooler than yesterday, 55 but by Thursday back into the 70's.

Rain/snow.... Depends when you look. Glad I got this bathtub re-caulk going on!
News just said a record rainfall day beating the one set in 1922!
