Howling winds, darn cold, spitting snow off and on. Then this weekend up into the low 60's.

Turned out nice and sunny. Now dark clouds rolling in. Only going down to 40 during the night so not too shabby.

36°F, but starting tomorrow, we begin a stretch of oddly warm weather. Very weird. It's like we're jumping to late-April. It's going to be interesting to see how plants/animals respond to this.

The longer-term forecasts shows this trend may continue through the end of next week, so we may see 10+ days of 50s and 60s. Plants will definitely begin to grow with a stretch of weather like this, as well as no snow cover. I'm a little nervous about my how my peach tree will react. I'd hate to see disaster this year, since I've been hoping this would be the year I start to get more peaches from it.

Same here, 20 right now then heading up to 50 today, 65 tomorrow, then 60-high 50's rest of the the week. The bees and plants have no clue what to do.

The temperature has soared this afternoon to 65°F! Temperature records have been easily broken.
I've had the windows open for most of the day! Planning on doing some minor native garden work tomorrow. Thinking of anything I can to spend the most time possible outside this weekend.

Sorry to hear that, Sissy. We lost two friends yesterday, a sister-in-law's father, and a pharmacist I've known for at least 45 years.
