waiting for the massive rain storm to hit...........right now cool and dribbling/rain off and on.

It started raining here yesterday and hasn't quit! Over 8 inches so far and they are calling for up to a foot in some areas. Makes me glad my ponds are above ground so my fish don't swim away.

Just glad for once that I had rubber soled shoes on and not barefoot .Bad storm again today .If someone has something against me I wish they would tell me in a safer way

Wow! What happened to the people? Why did they leave? Maybe combination of reasons... Poluted, too far off from busy colorful downtown strip, fell on hard times and people simply vanished?

another thunder storm coming and I came in after yesterday being scared .Put red mower away because saw bad storm coming and went out to get the yellow mower and just walked onto the gravel and lightening hit the ground and knocked me right off my feet .I could not even feel my legs or arms at first then felt tingling .My son was just standing on the front porch when it all happened and he could not even see because of the flash from it and then he ran down to try and help me . .Never want that to happen again and storm sounds bad right now .

Sissy, that was just the strangest story about that lake Mead. Sad....

Another sad note... Feels like winter is just around the corner, especially when that colder than normal wind blows.

But I have a safe warm hideout for the big banana's, me and my magical Fariy gardens.

There are still some people there .Reason I posted it is because hubby and I stayed there a long time ago .I can't understand the loss of it .But do know most people want to stay on the strip where the activity is but that place was so relaxing it was amazing .

There seems to be lots of abandon mansions as well these days. Was watching them on U-tube. Lots of nice homes just abandon. Just like lots of malls closed up and sitting empty like a giant ghost town....

Well our predicted 5 inches is 0.67 inches. Wish we would get more!
All the storms going around us AGAIN!

We had a thunderstorm already today and one is brewing here for the last hour .Lots of thunder and last night we had one .Now they are talking about this storm maybe coming up the coast .Danville my sister had over 3 inch sized hail and 70 mile per hour winds yesterday .Dented her new car all up at the post office where she works .

This is the pond that I live on. In 17 years I have only seen it go over the road 1 other time.

Wow we got a whole one inch, during hit and missed rain storms.
The main rain totally missed us.

It is super foggy here this morning .I can't even see the road in front of my house.Now worried about the storm Mathew and what it will bring to the coast
