What the heck.............it is pouring down rain here right now...............but it will clear up soon and tomorrow and all next week will be wonderfully warm

92 right now. calling for 95. with a humidex of 105! They keep calling for showers, but it never happens. We were up in the Algonquin area last week; it had rained two days before we got there but the ground was so dry it wouldn't absorb the water. Lawns are all burned and dead, but the Madawaska River was running higher than I've ever seen it in the summer.

This storm front rolled in while we were at the beach, thinking trailer parks attract tornadoes! Luckily none

90 here again but with the heat index we are hitting 99. It's been overcast most of the day, otherwise it would be much worse. Waiting for storms to move in... we're under a severe storm watch until 10:00 tonight. We have family driving in through Wisconsin, so I hope they have safe travels--lots of rain/storms up that way right now.

94, 96 98......Temps are keeping out door activities to early morning. Relief is in site...,,.cooling off to 88 this week end. The frog is cooling off in the stream. I might join him and take a dip in the pond

Finally got a break from the heat! 75 out now and overcast. Even got some rain overnight. even if it WAS only a quarter inch! Still drizzling every once in a while. so we MIGHT reach 5/16" before it ends.

82 here today--a welcome break from the Florida-like heat and humidity we had the past few days. The heavens opened up yesterday evening and we had flash flood warnings for a few hours as the cold front pushed through.

81 here and my face is dripping just walking from the kitchen to the garage so humidity must be high here too!

Humidity is 54% INSIDE the house, with the AC on! Probably double that outside. Just finished mowing the front yard. (Notice I didn't call it a lawn.) The weeds took advantage of the slight rainfall, so I had to decapitate them. Feels like I fell into the pond!
