It's snowing. It's about time I get the pond breather in and the net off.
Looks so pretty!View attachment 155434We had this few inches of wet snow on December 3rd. We’ll get more in a few days. I hope it’s not too wet and heavy again. Trees around here sometimes drop limbs from heavier snow loads and it sounds like fireworks going off when they drop.
It will be wonderful for Christmas.Looks so pretty!
Waiting patiently for the much loved white stuff to come again!
They are saying now that we prolly won't get a white Christmas but that's ok as I have family coming over on Christmas Eve and they need to drive here and home.We MIGHT get snow next Thurs Fri, might have white Christmas.
Looks great all year long! You have accomplished a bunch in all those different areas of working pond features none of which I have I'm sorry to say. This was last week , but this week brought rains and washed the snow away
View attachment 155438View attachment 155439I was asked to get an aerial shot of the pond . while i did pickup a drone I have yet to play with it but while up on the roof i took these

The red at the top of the picture is the matrix bog 8x20x6
The orange is the pea stone bog 6x8
The gray is the stream 25 feet
and the pink is a upper pond that feeds the two falls to the main pond 12x8

The other pink area is the main pond 37x25 at the widest and 5.5 feet deep
The green is a negative edge and catch pool
The yellow is the 3000 gallon underground cistern
Winter wonderland! I love getting to see the layout from above, and how all the parts fit together. Looking forward to some drone flyovers! This was last week , but this week brought rains and washed the snow away
