I hope you are OK JW as I saw the flooding up your way . I don't get on much with all the stuff I still have to do around here and weather slows me down but then I get to work in my wood shop so that is a bonus

All's fine w/us as we live up on a hill where it never floods. Below us tho is the river which can flood sometimes and not allow us to leave our hill. This did not happen here this time tho thankfully. There are area's in the state that are suffering terribly from the floods as you have prolly heard on the news. Landslides and trees falling are an issue also due to the mushy ground.

I'm swapping my only INground pond from a bare Koi Pond into a planted. Livebearer pond.
I've also replaced the filter.
Right now it's still in flux. I have a lily. (That's not in yet) and there are about 20 assorted Swordtails in there.

I saw video's on the news but you can't tell how bad because all they ever talk about is fake global warming . I got a pic of my thermostat during rain storm late yesterday .Supposed to b 52 today which is on target for this time of year . I love it at night with stars and moon

Yes lots of fake stuff going on out there now in the world.
Nice you are having better temps to enjoy your pond, and all of nature out there now. My pond is all thawed now and the fish are all swimming about enjoying getting back to our normal temps too.

Thing is I just never seem to get the time to enjoy it because i am always working on it . Every one tells me that is why I get charged and put up on tax sight as a view lot , I pay for people to view my lot . I am the only one in my neighborhood that has that on tax papers VIEW LOT . I looked it up because of that reason and other houses are up the hill on this side of the road also . Well looks like we will get snow saturday and sunday and then monday back up into high 40's and then up higher again . today 40 and tomorrow over 50 degrees

yes to warming I was raised here, when it first snowed the snow stayed all winter. My dad made ice skating rinks in our back yard which we used all winter. There is no way that can be done now.

We had ice storms that shut down the area for days to weeks. That seldom happens now. Now snows, ice and gone in a few days. This is the first time in 4ish years we are actually getting a decent snow that is sticking around for a bit.

Any one know about where colleen is . The little time I can get on I have not seen her . ddy we are the cause if you look it up more houses built and land taken up and trees taken down . Global warming is a lie look up the history of weather . I look up from 1953 to this year and there were more storms back then than there are now . It was just not reported as much back then and since there were less people and less homes to be destroyed there was less reporting on those storms . It was interesting to look at . They give you population for each state and numbers of homes built . Even give info on sears built plan homes and costs . It took me a long time just to see info on NJ and PA . Pictures of open land where now are over crowded cities now with slum areas were nothing back then . Funny report on how those grew was after the government decided to give out food stamps and welfare was a really wrong . babies for money and not working was a major bad by the government . The problem grew more and more each year . I have skipped some years inbetween because it was depressing to see the growth of the decline in AMERICA

@sissy @callingcolleen1 comes here once in awhile but she is on my Facebook and also on Youtube. I go there to watch her latest video's. Her ponds are doing good and she is still busy, busy w/work and her greenhouse and I suppose tons of other stuff. I'll tell her on facebook that you asked about her. I too miss her being here more often:)

From recent storm.
Two leaf baskets ruined, waiting for ice to fully melt out of pumps to see if they're dead or not. Took them and the pipes out and under shelter to thaw. This is why I usually shut down the pond in the winter. No one believed this storm would happen, seeing as how it's been in the 60-70s, next day, 20s and 6in of snow! Fudgecakes!
Mostly frozen to near 2in thick ice, too.
