A couple different species of sedge. The main one you see is Smooth Black Sedge (Carex nigra). Mine are potted in dirt.
Thanks. I thought it was some type of grass or reed. I recently added ice dance sedge to my bog. It has thicker green leaves with white edges. Not supposed to get as tall as those you have. Yours look nice.

So pretty @j.w ! That's quite the herd you've got there! Ours have been spawning like mad the last week or so - I'm guessing we'll have a few little ones show up any day now!

@Lisak1 yes I could afford to find new homes for a lot of those oj ones. I hardly ever see any babies survive anymore but every once in awhile I see a small one so they are coming surely but slowly.
