First water Lilly bloom...bright pink. I know this is no big deal for most of you but this is my first, ever, so I have to show it off.

I never rains around here, but when it does we get it all in a short period of time. We got around 5" yesterday on an already saturated ground. Rain is in the forecast today and tomorrow.

I raised the liner fold at the pond's edge about 1 1/2" above grade, but the flooded back yard overflowed it. There's not a really good way to drain the back yard. Everything is so flat around here there is nowhere for it to go. Gotta do something though.

@Rex If you have enough left over liner around the pond edge I would make a berm around your pond w/dirt and rocks under the liner to lift it up higher so the water will go around your pond instead of in it. Any kind of rocks just to get it higher all the way around.

Bit of a mess as we just bought the house. I want to clear what's behind it and put a bench there. Maybe some rocks around it. Need to figure out what to do with the waterfall thing above it too. Weeds need clearing, could do with some pond plants. There's potential there I reckon. Don't love the net but apparently they jump out
