Snails are fine in ponds. Most of them will get eaten by larger goldfish or koi. They put them in their mouth with a piece of gravel and break up shell with the gravel and spit out the shell. I have seen them do this. Some will manage to hide and survive so not to worry about them "taking over" pond.

I have been researching the lady slippers I took from my other property and where to plant them .It is only legal to take them if they are growing on your property which there are a couple of hundred of them growing there .Not even sure where they came from .But they sure ar healthy little devils .Most of the flowers are over 4 inch's long and must be from horse poop fertilizer

was that to me? if so no im south nj but with the trees that had to come down i left the netting and cattle panal up to support the trp to cover the pond from sawdust and accidents from falling in to the pond and maybe damaging the liner

I don't know what it is this year, but my fish have been darting over to me like never before. They've always come over to me to an extent, but never so quickly and excitedly. My biggest fish always looks like he's rushing over to be pet.

The pollinators are finally active again. Saw a few bee species around my Marsh Marigold, which is looking fantastic.
