What does your pond look like ... Today?

Here's the pond today. I was doing some pond work earlier. I added a long pot, which you can see on the right.

While I was busy doing that, the ducks were patiently waiting across the driveway.

The bog is starting to grow. Blue Flag Iris, Marsh Marigold, and some moss.

It's almost time to move the fish outside, but they're currently still in their winter condo

Toad orgy, Sissy?

Collected 62 frogs and half a bucket of eggs from my pond and took them over to the 2 farm ponds Marty has .

We had our first toad egg dump last night, they were out singing while I was down there working. This is a small pond, warm slow flowing I let the algae do what it wants, the critters love it.

This is my turtle escape ramp from the lotus tub, the frogs and toads love it too.

My fish and trap door snails are happy

All the black spots are trap doors this is the 5 foot deep area. Upper left is hornwort and anacharis just starting to grow.

Toads were scrumpin in my pond yesterday. I bent down to take a close look at them and a garter snake shot out from under a rock and grabbed one. I nearly soiled my shorts.
