it is green and most of the frog babies I took away were all brown and these are like a dull lime green ,more like a drab green that looks a little brown .There are 4 large sized green and brown toads in there but the heat was getting to me so had to come in .I had just gotten done mowing and decided to take some of the hyacinth out of the lily pond and then saw all these babies so caught as many as I could and then came in to cool off .

I get the plain greek yogurt, add fresh berries and then a drizzle of your honey Addy, it's soooo good.
I put honey on mine, honey can't have the sugar hit. We get the plain greek because of the lower sugars and the high protein.
I just love the honey on the yogurt, the stuff our bees made is so darn good!

And I do not feed them a lot and do not give them growth food ,just think how big they could be .I pick up my chi. and the time I had to pick up aggie i was amazed at how heavy and big she really is .My chihuahua weighs in at a fat 9 pounds and aggie feels like she weighs twice that much .She is as long as my arm and in the water she did not look that big .She injured her nose in that little incident and her under belly .A couple of weeks in stock tank and she is back to normal .Funny how fish are sometimes

Wow, I'm glad she is okay sissy. Pretty impressive that you picked her up being that big I would have been afraid to drop her.

I would love to have koi someday but not with a little pond like I have now.

I learned how to pick them up properly from Eric the ponddigger. You cradle them in both arms .I had just been working on the pond and had pulled the screening from the edge and it was early morning and i did not see the huge toad on the bridge .Aggie and Bert as usual were looking to get food from me when the toad jumped in the pond right next to aggie and she in turn jumped out of the pond onto the retaining wall block and and pavers on the side of the pond .I always have a stock tank next to the pond just in case I need it .I always have water and a pump and an air stone going in it for baby fish .Well aggie was the baby this time .I have plants in it now. They are from the lily pond that I have to clean and catch the toads living in there

It probably doesn't look like it, but this morning's monsoon-like rain wreaked havoc on some of my plants. Mexican sunflowers were hanging on by a thread. I tied them up to the fence and cut a bunch off. Blanket Flowers were nearly flattened. Some of my cornflowers had to be removed. Luckily I got the area looking halfway decent again.

I also added a new plant to my native garden, Great Blue Lobelia.
